Frequently Asked Questions
1. We don't speak Spanish. Can you accommodate us in English?
We can conduct tours in English and Spanish. We are also available to accompany you to cafes and restaurants if you need assistance with translating menus in Spanish.
2.What do you mean by "Custom Tour"?
Our tours are not "cookie cutter" tours. We also do not do tours for large groups of people. We will meet with you at your hotel or a nearby café to discuss what your interests are. We will then offer you several tour/excursion options for you to consider based on your interests and your time in Barcelona.
3. What is the cost of your service?
Our service is free. We work with operators of various tours to get you the best prices for whatever you choose to do. We also will accompany you on your tour/excursion to make sure you get the best out of your experience. At the end of your tour, you need only to show your gratitude if you had a good time by tipping your guide.
4. Does it cost very much to go to the nude beach?
There is no charge to go to the nude beach. This beach is open to everyone. Although this is a "clothing optional" beach, we would prefer that our guests go "au naturel" to get the best out of this experience.
5. Is paragliding safe? Do I need any special equipment or clothing?
Paragliding is absolutely safe. Our guests will fly with an experienced pilot in a secure tandem harness. This is an unbelievable experience for anyone over 18 years of age. Other than a sweater, a warm jacket and gloves if its a cool day, no special equipment is needed.
6. How long is the sailing excursion? Should we bring our own food?
The sailing excursion is about 4 hours in length. We sail out of Port Olympic in Barcelona. If you choose to, you will have the opportunity to assist with raising and lowering the sails and even take a turn at the wheel. If you prefer to just relax and enjoy the Mediterranean breezes, you may also do that. Feel free to bring your favorite picnic lunch and bottle of wine to share. Gratis beer and water are offered on board.
7. How large is the paella cooking class?
We have a couple of choices for the paella cooking class. One is held in a classroom situation while the other is held in the private home of a chef. Both are equally fun and open to from 8 to 12 persons.
8. Can we hire you as a personal guide?
Yes, we can serve as your personal guide while you visit Barcelona. Make the most of your time while on vacation. So much time is wasted trying to figure out where to go and how to get from point "A" to point "B". If you don't speak Spanish we can help with translations, getting around the city and traveling on the metro. Prices are very affordable and vary depending on how many hours we are needed.
